Application Process

We would like to bring you up-to-date regarding the current status of the Michigan Anemometer Loan Program for small wind projects. There has been increasing interest for anemometer loans over the course of the project with 42 applications in 2006 and 93 in 2007. We have placed (9) anemometers on loan in 2007 each for one year. Thus, we are restarting the application process for moving the systems to new locations for 2008. We are asking for applications to be returned by August 1, 2008 along with a $25 application fee. To be selected as a participant in the program we take into consideration the strength of the proposal, location in the state and type of agricultural operation.
