The Southwest Michigan Research and Extension Center is located about 6 miles from Lake Michigan. Its 740 foot elevation provides a relatively frost free site for research on tree fruit, grapes and vegetables.

Exit I-94 at exit 30 (Napier Ave) and go east 2 ½ miles on Napier to Hillandale. Turn south on Hillandale. The station is about a ¼ mile south on the left.
