Berry Harvest is Here

Raspberries

  Strawberry harvest season is ending.

July is the season for berries; raspberries, black berries and blueberries.  I expect that harvest of these berries will start in about a week at the beginning of July. The harvest season of brambles is fairly short, only a couple of weeks

Ripe Blueberries

Blueberry harvest lasts a long time from early July until mid August.  Van Buren County is the leading blueberry producing county in the United States, with 191 blueberry farms and 7,700 acres of blueberries
