We
have a lot of Blueberries in Southwest Michigan so I take a lot of Blueberry
Pictures. I have collected many of the pictures I have here on this page.
These small pictures are all linked to a larger image. I also have some picture
intensive pages that have lots of pictures that are not here. Frost/Freeze
Damage in Blueberries, Mummyberry in Blueberries, Roundup injury in Blueberries, 2,4-D injury in Blueberries, Blueberry Shoestring Virus Syptoms,
I have lots of fruit pictures.
Also see the Fruit AoE growth stages page for Blueberries.
Bud burst in blueberries. The large bud at the tip of the shoot is a
flower bud and will have flowers and fruit. The smaller pointed buds below are leaf
buds and will devlop leaves on a shoot. This is the time to begin mummyberry control
to protect the shoots from shoot blight.
The picture below shows the flowers and shoots about one or two weeks later.

growing point of the shoots below the flower cluster was killed so these shoots have
stopped growing.
