Composting Class Offered
The Michigan State University Extension office will be holding a one night basic composting class. The class is to be held on Monday, September 13 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Human Services Building in Paw Paw. The cost is $5 per person. Please pre-register by September 10 by calling Jill at 657-7745.
These introductory classes is for anyone who is considering starting a compost pile and for those that may have started composting but are not getting the desired results. Basic composting concepts including water, microbes, size and aeration will be discussed. Be prepared to go outside to see composting in action. Pre-registration is required to allow for enough seating. Please call the MSU Extension office at 657-7745 if you have any questions or need to pre-register.
