International Extension Experience in India and Nepal
India is a Land of Many Contrasts

International Extension Training Sessions for MSU Extension Personnel are held every two years.

View of Taj Mahal from Agra FortIn October and November of 1999, MSUE Agents and family members toured India and Nepal as part of an international training experience. This experience gave us new insight into International Relations and International Agriculture.  These pages contain pictures and impressions from our trip to these two countries.

Each of the participants of the training were to report their experiences and impressions of one facet of life in India.

The International Extension Training Program (IETP) which hosted this field in-service to India, is accepting new groups of trainees.  Any Michigan State "provost appointed" staff member with at least two years of successful Extension experience is eligible to apply.
