US 12 Michigan Council Announces October Heritage Trail Tour Ideas. Take a drive in the country, enjoy the HarvestFest. All of October, Saturday and Sunday: Nottawa Fruit Farm, east of Centreville on M-86. Fall family fun, hayrides, petting farm, straw tunnels, pedal tractor, games, pick your pumpkins. 11:30 – 4:30. 269-467-7719. October – The Edwardsburg Museum at 25616 Main Street is featuring a display of scarecrows. The museum was a boarding house and also features early area photos. October 20 – Saline Railroad Depot, Transportation of Today by Gladys Saborio, Chair of US 12 Heritage Trail Council. 7:30 p.m. October 22-24 – Hayes State Park, Irish Hills Round Lake Harvest Festival. Most events reserved for registered campers. Hay rides, nature presentations and ghost stories. Check on activities and reservations 1-800-44Parks or DNR on-line reservations. October 23 – Coldwater, Capri Drive-In Halloween Party – 517-278-5628. October 26 – “Automotive Dealerships in Clinton”, ANHA Project by Clinton Historical Society. Clinton – the Southern Michigan Railroad runs tours between Clinton and Tecumseh, following the scenic River Raisin, including special fall color trips over the same spots that saw the first rail spurs built into Michigan in the 1800s.
