We, at Michigan State University SOUTHWEST, commit ourselves to helping southwest Michigan communities plan for the future and to helping residents improve their lives through education: applying knowledge to critical issues, needs, and opportunities. We are dedicated to the application of Michigan State University's knowledge resources in response to important and diverse challenges and concerns throughout our 17 county regional service area -- including Allegan, Barry, Berrien, Branch, Calhoun, Cass, Clinton, Eaton, Hillsdale, Ingham, Ionia, Jackson, Kalamazoo, Lenawee, Shiawassee, St. Joseph, and Van Buren Counties, as well as Extension units housed within four MSU research centers: the Clarksville Horticulture Station, the KBS Land & Water Unit, Trevor Nichols Research Station, and the
Southwest Michigan Research & Extension Center.

MSU SOUTHWEST shares this primary outreach, extension and lifelong learning mission with the entire University.

Directions to the MSU Southwest office:
From I 94 (Ann Arbor/Detroit or Chicago) Exit I94 at Exit 85. Proceed north on 35th street (about 7 miles) until "T" at DE Avenue. Take right on DE, then (after about a mile) left at next "T" onto 37th Street. Go north on 37th Street (about 1/4 mile) until "T" at M89. Turn right on M89 and proceed for about 2 miles to North 40th Street. Turn left on 40th Street to B Avenue, the first intersection after the first stop sign (about 3 miles). At B Avenue turn left, go about 1 mile and at the white water tower (on the right), turn left into the driveway. Manor House parking is straight up and through the stone gates.
