The Wolf Creek Water Quality HUA Project

Objectives:

1. Reduce the agricultural chemical level in the water within Lake Adrian
2. Reduce the amount of sediment entering Lake Adrian by 3,300 tons within 5 years on the implementation of the project.
3. Implement and evaluate best management practices used within Wolf Creek Watershed so that we can optimize the economic returns while meeting the first two objectives.
4. Reduce the phosphorous level entering Lake Adrian by 5,200 pounds within 5 years of the implementation of the project.
5. Expand water quality database in the watershed through a rural well-testing program for nitrogen and agricultural pesticides.
