Nandina domestica--Heavenly Bamboo

Annual Growth Rate: 12 to 18 inches

Comments: Heavenly Bamboo is an Asian native that can adapt
to a wide variety of growing conditions. The reddish new
growth become green as they age. White flowers are followed
by bright red ornamental fruit. This plant will grow in sun
or shade and in most soils.

Cultivars:
'Atropurpurea Nana' ('Nana Purpurea') - Leaves have
purplish tint in summer becoming red during cold
weather. The height and spread will be about 2 feet.
'Firepower' - The leaves are bright red in winter.
'Harbour Dwarf' - A mounding plant about 3 feet tall.
