Comments: Hairy Melic is a cool season grass that is most
ornamental in the spring. The fluffy, white flowers appear
in late spring and are on 18-inch stems. The flower stems
may need staking to keep them from falling over. Provide a
sunny growing area with a moist, well-drained soil. The
flowers may be used in fresh flower arrangements.
