Comments: This bellflower is native to Asia. The two-inch
long, drooping flowers are tube-like and are produced on
thin stems. The flowers are sometimes speckled with red.
Flowering usually occurs in mid to late summer. Provide a
growing area in full sun. A well-drained soil will be
essential. On good sites it will spread rapidly.

Propagation: Division can be done rather easily. Self-
seeded volunteers may also be used to start additional
plantings.

Cultivars:
'Elisabeth' - Pink flowers.
