Type: narrow-leaved evergreen shrub
Annual Growth Rate: less than 12 inches

Comments: This evergreen (Vis. 1) can become a small tree of
25 or 30 feet tall. The bark is gray and peels in strips.
The plant can be used in shade and it will tolerate dryness
once established.

Cultivars:
'Fastigiata' - A columnar form that will be as wide as it
is tall.
'Prostrata' - A spreading form.
