Comments: Kolomitka actinidia is usually grown for the
colored foliage (Vis. 1) or its cultivar rather than its
fruit. The fragrant, white flowers are followed by green
fruit on female vines. This hardy vine adapts to most
growing conditions.
Cultivars:
'Arctic Beauty' - Young leaves are purple and then
develop pink and white variegations. A male cultivar.
'Aromatnaya' - A female cultivar that produces fruit and
has variegated foliage. Requires male vine for
pollination.
