Comments: As its name implies, this tree is native to
Spain. It has a slow growth rate and the needles have a
radial arrangement on the stem. The tree becomes a broad
pyramid with age.

Cultivars:
'Aurea' - Yellow foliage when plants are grown in full
sun.
'Glauca' - The needles (Vis. 1) are bluish. The cultivar
may be more tolerant of adverse conditions than the
species.
