Planting Tender Bulbs
Some summer flowering bulbs can be started indoors, but
many can be planted outside when the danger of frost is
past. Most will need exposure to full sun. Summer
flowering bulbs planted near south facing walls bloom
before those near northern facing walls. Prepare the soil
as for other plants. Improve the drainage of heavy soils
by working in organic matter.
Planting depths and spacings vary with the individual
plants.
