Teucrium chamaedrys--Wall Germander

Flowers: Purple

Comments: Wall Germander is grown for its lustrous green
foliage as well as its flowers. The plant resembles
boxwood and should receive winter protection in areas
where winters are severe. Like boxwood, the Wall
Germander can be sheared to form a low hedge. Provide
exposure to full sun and a well-drained soil. The flowers
are produced in late summer.

Propagation: Propagate by seed or division.

Cultivars:
'Nanum' ('Prostratum') - Plants about 10 inches high can
be used as a ground cover. Pink flowers.
