Sedum spectabile (Hylotelephium spectabile)--Showy Stonecrop

Flowers: Pink, red, white

Comments: Showy Stonecrop grows in sun or light shade and
blooms in late summer when other perennials have long
since finished. The flower color depends on the cultivar
grown. The bluish or grayish-green foliage is attractive
early in the summer. Plant in a well-drained soil.

Propagation: Stem cuttings or by division.

Cultivars: The following list contains both cultivars and
hybrids.
'Autumn Joy' - Late summer or fall, reddish to bronze
flowers (Vis. 1).
'Brilliant' - Rose colored flowers (Vis. 2), the plant
may be used in light shade.
'Frosty Morn' - The flowers will be white to pink. The
leaves have a white margin (Vis. 6).
'Matrona' - Large clusters of pink flowers. Reddish
stems.
'Meteor' - Bright pink flowers.
x 'Morchen' - Deep pink flowers, burgundy leaves turn red
in the fall.
'Rosy Glow' - Red flowers (Vis. 3) are combined with
bluish-green foliage.
'Stardust' - Creamy white flowers (Vis. 4).
'Variegatum' - The foliage is variegated with white,
the flowers are pink
'Vera Jameson' - Red foliage (Vis. 5) is combined with
pink flowers.
