Sanvitalia procumbens--Creeping Zinnia

Height: 8 in Spacing: 6 in
Type: annual
Flowers: Yellow

Comments: Creeping Zinnia is not truly a zinnia. It
produces yellow flowers with dark centers (Vis. 1) on plants
with a trailing habit. The plant can be used as an edging
plant or in containers. Provide a growing area exposed to
full sun and that has well-drained soil. The plant prefers
heat and tolerates drought.

Propagation: Propagation is by seed. The seed should not
be covered as they require light for germination.

Cultivars:
'Mandarin Orange'
'Irish Eyes'
'Sprite Orange'
