Comments: Bloodroot can be used for naturalizing as it is
native to wooded areas. Provide a growing area with a
moist, acid, well-drained soil and a light exposure of
partial shade. The flowers (Vis. 1) are produced in early
spring.
Propagation: Propagation is by seed sown in the fall or by
division in late summer or fall when the plant is dormant.
