Comments: The species is seldom grown in landscapes,
however, some of the more unusual cultivars are often
grown. Willows are problem-prone plants that require more
care than other trees.
Cultivars:
'Navajo' - A rounded tree having a height and spread of
50 feet (Vis. 1).
'Tortuosa' - This tree is grown for its contorted and
twisted branches (Vis. 2).
'Umbraculifera' - A rounded, compact plant, somewhat
smaller than the species.
