Picea omorika--Serbian Spruce

Annual Growth Rate: less than 12 inches
Comments: Serbian Spruce forms a narrow, pyramidal
silhouette (Vis. 1) with graceful arching branches. The
upper surface of the needles (Vis. 2) is glossy, dark green
in contrast to the whitish lower surface.
Cultivars:
'Aurea' - Yellowish foliage.
'Berliner's Weeper' - An upright, narrow tree with
pendulous branches.
'Expansa' - A low, spreading plant.
'Nana' - A dense, globe-shaped dwarf (Vis. 5). Grows
about an inch a year.
'Pendula' - Spreading when young, becoming weeping with
maturity, slow-growing.
'Pendula Bruns' - Stronger weeping habit (Vis. 3) than
pendula.
'Pimiko' - A rounded dwarf.
