Comments: Black Spruce is an extremely hardy evergreen
tree with a very narrow growth habit and bluish-green
foliage. Tolerates wet sites.
Cultivars: Both 'Ericoides' and 'Nana' are listed in
catalogs as Blue Nest Spruce.
'Aureovariegata' - Leaves variegated (Vis. 3) with
yellow.
'Ericoidies' - Bluish foliage and a rounded, uniform
habit.
'Golden' - The upper surfaces of the needles (Vis. 2) are
flushed with pale yellow.
'Nana' - A very slow-growing, dwarf plant with a
rounded habit (Vis. 1).
