Type: narrow-leaved evergreen tree
Annual Growth Rate: less than 12 inches

Comments: Engelmann Spruce is a narrow plant that, on a
good site, can grow larger than the sizes listed. The
bark forms scales that peel away. This is a desirable
tree but it is not readily available in the trade.

Cultivars:
'Glauca' - Foliage is bluish-gray.
'Vanderwolf's Blue Pyramid' - An upright form with bluish
foliage.
