Papaver nudicaule--Iceland Poppy

Flowers: Orange, pink, red, white, yellow

Comments: Iceland Poppy is grown for its 3-inch flowers
(Vis. 1) produced in a wide variety of colors. The plant is
also a source of cut flowers. The plants perform best in
cool weather. Provide a sunny growing area and a
well-drained soil.

Propagation: Propagation is usually by seed planted into
the garden in late summer. The plants do not like being
transplanted.

Cultivars:
'Champagne Bubbles' - Mixed colors.
