Comments: L. x arkwrightii are hybrids between L.
chalcedonica and other hybrids of garden origin. Pinch
the plants early in the season to induce branching for
bushier plants. Plant in a soil with good drainage.
Awkwright's Campion sometimes acts as a biennial.
Propagation: Propagate by seed or division.
Cultivars:
'Orange Gnome' - A dwarf form of Vesuvius only 8 inches
tall.
'Vesuvius' - Bronze foliage is combined with orange-red
flowers (Vis. 1).
