Lamium galeobdolon (Lamiastrum galeobdolon)--Yellow Archangel

Comments: Yellow Archangel is most often used as an
outdoor ground cover, however, it is a good subject for a
hanging pot. The flowers are produced in clusters but the
plants are usually grown for the ornamental leaves of the
cultivars. Provide a well-drained soil and almost any
light exposure. The plant may become invasive.
Propagation: Propagation is by division in autumn or by
cuttings taken in summer.
Cultivars:
'Florentinum' - A variegated type with large leaves
marked with white.
'Herman's Pride' - The foliage has silvery markings and
the plant has a mound-shape habit.
'Variegatum' - Leaves larger than those of Herman's
Pride but also with silvery variegations.
