Type: narrow-leaved evergreen tree
Annual Growth Rate: less than 12 inches
Comments: Lebanon Cedar (Vis. 2) can be used as a specimen
tree but it is not overly hardy and will be damaged by
extreme cold. Provide a growing area in full sun with
protection from wind.
Cultivars:
'Glauca Pendula' - A weeping form with dark green
foliage and a narrow habit (Vis. 1).
'Green Prince' - A very slow-growing plant. The new
growth is light green, maturing to dark green.
'Pendula' - A slow growing, weeping form.
var. stenocoma - A pyramidal form, considered to be the
hardiest of the Lebanon Cedars.
'Sargentii' - A dwarf with pendulous branches.
