Revised Filing Key for Tourism
Michigan State University Extension Service
Do what you can, with what you have, where you are. That
advice from Theodore Roosevelt applies to Extension agents
involved in tourism programming. Numerous resources exist.
However, not every agent is aware of these nor familiar
with how to access them.
The purpose of this filing key is to organize useful
information on a variety of tourism related topics,
identify additional resource people and organizations, and
suggest additional resources available such as books,
videos, and Extension publications. The intent is to
provide agents with an efficient and easy-to-use reference
system thereby allowing many clientele requests to be
handled quickly by the county agents and campus
specialists.
