- Understanding tourists (who they are, what they like
to do, what they expect.)
- Responsibilities and opportunities for service
employees, management, community residents.
- The care and feeding of tourists.
- People-to-people skills.
Selling the Community:
- Knowing the attractions and services of the community
and state.
- Basic salesmanship.
- Building local pride.
