Type: hardy bulb                                            
Flowers: White, blue                                        

Comments: Spring Starflower is native to South America.     
It produces white flower in the spring.  The plant will     
grow in full sun or partial shade and in a well-drained     
soil.                                                       

Propagation: The bulbs may be lifted and separated.  In     
fact, if performance begins to decline, division may be     
needed.                                                     

Cultivars:                                                  
   'Rolf Fiedler' - Blue, 1-inch flowers.
