Veronicastrum virginicum--Culver's Root

Hardiness Zones: 3 to 8
Height: 5 ft Spacing: 3 ft
Type: herbaceous perennial
Flowers: Blue, white, pink

Comments: These tall plants produce distinctive spikes of
blue, white or pink flowers. After the initial flower
production, side shoots will form flowers. The plant is
native to the Eastern U.S. where it can be found in areas
with moist soils. Provide a sunny growing area with a
moist soil. The plants should not need staking unless
they are grown in shade.

Propagation: Division is probably the easiest method.

Cultivars:
   'Album' - White flowers.
   'Roseum' - Pale pink flowers.
