Comments: Although this plant has several ornamental        
traits, it is most often grown as a fruit crop.  Highbush   
Blueberry should be planted in a moist acid soil.  The      
ornamental traits are the white flowers in spring and the   
bright red fall foliage color.  The berries are edible and  
dark blue to black.                                         

Cultivars:                                                  
   'Blue Crop' - Large berries produced in mid-season.      
   'Blue Ray' - Large, light blue berries, mid-season.      
   'Collins' - Medium size berries.                         
   'Coville' - Large berries, mid-late season.              
   'Elliot' - Small to medium size berries, late.           
   'Friendship' - A compact plant with small to medium      
     size berries.                                          
   'Late Blue' - Large fruit.                               
   'Northland' - Small, dark blue fruit are produced on     
     hardy, compact plants.                                 
   'Patriot' - Early fruit that are large.                  
   'Walcott' - Very early fruit production, good landscape  
     choice.
