Vinca Crown Canker and Dieback
Large plantings of vinca are sometimes infected with
this disease. Individual stems turn brown or many times
they are black. The stem dies back to the ground. Wet
weather increases the incidence and severity of the
disease.
Remove the diseased plant and keep fallen leaves raked of
large plantings to allow better air circulation and
drying.
