Comments: Arrowwood produces 2- to 4-inch clusters of small, white flowers in late spring. Small, dark blue fruits are produced in late summer and are eaten by birds. The fall color is red to reddish purple.
Cultivars:
'Morton' - (Northern Burgundy TM) - Another selection
reaching a height and spread of about 12 feet. The
fall color is a blend of wine red and burgundy.
'Perle Bleu' - A good winter display of blue fruits.
'Ralph Senior' - (Autumn Jazz TM) - A vase-shaped plant
with pendulous foliage and red leaf petioles. The
fall color is a combination of yellow, orange, red
and burgundy.
'Synnestvedt' - (Chicago Lustre TM) - A shrub reaching
a height and spread of 10- to 15-feet and becoming
upright, rounded in habit.
