Sanseveria--Snake Plant Type: house plant

Comments: Snake Plant is one of the most tolerant house
plants. It tolerates most light exposures but may need
some shade from direct sun. Use any well-drained potting
soil and allow the plants to dry between watering,
especially during the winter. Ideal temperatures are 62
to 65 degrees at night and up to 85 degrees during the
day. Repot in early summer if needed.

Propagation: Propagation is by division or leaf section
cuttings. When using leaf section cuttings, keep track of
the upper end. If planted upside down the cutting will
not grow. Plants produced from variegated cuttings will
be green.
