Comments: Winter Aconite is one of the first flowers to
bloom in spring. These low plants like a well-drained
soil and some shade in summer is desirable. The tubers
are planted in summer or autumn. Shriveled tubers can be
plumped up by putting them in moist sand or peat moss, 2
days before planting them 3 inches deep. The tubers
multiply rapidly.
Propagation: Divide the plants when they are dormant.
