Hardiness Zones: 5 to 9 Height: 30 ft Spread: 30 ft Form: spreading Type: deciduous vine Annual Growth Rate: more than 18 inches Flowers: Orange
Comments: This is a rampant, clinging vine producing trumpet-shaped flowers in summer that attract hummingbirds. A tough vine for hot and dry sites. The invasive nature of the plant makes it hard to get rid of. Ants often live on trumpet vine and are sometimes found objectionable by gardeners.
Cultivars:
'Crimson Trumpet' - Dark red flowers.
'Flava' - Same vigorous growth habit but with yellow
flowers.
'Yellow Trumpet' - Bright yellow flowers.
