Caladium (Indoors)
Type: house plant
Comments: Most Caladiums have brightly colored foliage.
The green leaved types take medium light. Colored-leaved
types need about 50 percent sun for best leaf color while
red leaved varieties need more. Keep the soil evenly
moist. When good root systems have developed, fertilize
monthly with any house plant fertilizer. Caladiums grow
well within temperatures of 60 to 85 degrees. Plant the
tubers one inch deep. When the leaves turn yellow, store
tubers in soil at 60 degrees.
