Description of activities:                                  
The MCIRP is a coalition of organizations in Michigan       
concerned with legal issues related to immigrants and       
refugees.  With a volunteer staff, MCIRP applies for        
grants to implement projects and establish a full-time      
office to advocate for immigrants and refugees on a         
state-wide level through member groups and at a national    
level through federated groups.                             
There is a MCIRP monthly newsletter.
