African Studies Center


Established in 1960. The center is designated as            
National Resource Center on Africa by U.S.                  
Department of Education. The main function of the center    
is to encourage instruction and research about              
African society, politics, economy, languages,              
literature, health, education and agriculture. The          
center sponsors regular weekly public seminars,             
conferences on Africa related topics. The center has        
developed largest outreach program in the nation serving    
different aspects like education, communication and         
business.
