Executive Summary: This project addresses food safety issues through 1) development of a comprehensive electronic database system of food information; 2) an information training session via satellite to targeted clientele; and 3) evaluation of the system for future revisions and enhancements. The database system will be developed by the inter- disciplinary Food Safety/Quality Assurance Committee and the system will be targeted to many different individuals and agencies across South Dakota to enhance food safety knowledge and interagency collaboration on food safety issues.
