Biotechnology and Food Leader Training Packet Abstract: This notebook contains a number of educational resources for teachers, extension agents, and others interested in teaching biotechnology. The materials focus on Wisconsin resources but also include national resources to make them more useful to audiences in other states/regions. The 34-page Biotechnology Education Resource Guide includes a section on definitions, questions and answers about agricultural biotechnology, a fact sheet and teaching analogy on DNA, a list of Wisconsin biotechnology products, instructional contacts, references, Wisconsin and national resources. Also included are a Biotechnology full color teaching poster, "Biotechnology: Tools for Genetic Ingenuity" that addresses tools and applications of biotechnology. Overhead masters supplement the poster.
