Detective Mike Robe's Fantastic Journey Abstract: This curriculum package includes a teaching outline for six lessons for Head Start preschoolers, support materials, a 10-minute video and slide series. This is a remake of an elementary school food safety program with the same title. Lessons include introduction of food safety, bacteria-what are they, time/temperature/storage, relationship between food safety and food handling, and evaluation. Food safety concepts are complex for the intended audience of preschoolers. Information is provided for parent support materials and a one-hour parent's program
