Detective Mike Robe's Fantastic Journey
Abstract:
This curriculum package includes a teaching outline for
six lessons for Head Start preschoolers, support
materials, a 10-minute video and slide series. This is a

the same title. Lessons include introduction of food
safety, bacteria-what are they, time/temperature/storage,
relationship between food safety and food handling, and
evaluation. Food safety concepts are complex for the
intended audience of preschoolers. Information is
provided for parent support materials and a one-hour
parent's program
