Abstract:                                                   
The materials described in this report were developed to    
strengthen 4-H programs in the area of food safety. An      
inservice program outline provides information on a         
program held for agents to identify food safety needs and   
resource needs for Pennsylvania 4-H youth. Instructions     
for a quiz board and the script for a computer game on      
foodborne illness are also included. The computer game      
includes information on symptoms of foodborne illness,      
scientific principles of food safety, sites of cross        
contamination, the Danger Zone, and basic rules of food     
safety. The materials included in this report are brief     
descriptions and are limited. The actual quiz board and     
computer game were not received and reviewed. (Vis. 1)
