TITLE: Gay Men's and Women's Perceptions of Early Family
Life and Their Relationships with Parents.

ABSTRACT: Studied gay men and women (N=322) concerning
parent-child relationships. Found two-thirds perceived
their relationship with their father as satisfactory. Over
three fourths perceived their relationship with their
mother as satisfactory. The majority perceived that both
parents would accept their homosexuality. Data also
supported the belief that gays are not couple-oriented.
