ABSTRACT: Seventy Asian-white, black-white, and
Latino-white adolescents reported having multiethnic
identity and high degrees of acceptance and comfort in
white majority and ethnic minority communities, peer
relationships, and family relationships. Respondents had
average self-esteem and preferred an ethnically diverse
