ABSTRACT: Reports on implications of the Rehabilitation Act
Amendments of 1974, which require that handicapped
individuals be actively recruited and given appropriate
consideration by employers with federal contracts. The
distinctive feature is that there be "accommodation" to the
limitations of the handicapped individual. Methods for
implementing the program and for recourse in cases of
discrimination are discussed. (PsycLIT Database Copyright
