ABSTRACT: Argues that recent literature suggests that a
bias against the traditionally religious exists in the
field of psychology. Selected psychodynamic, sociocultural,
and cognitive theories of prejudice are reviewed to
delineate the origin of this problem. Affirmative action
for traditionally religious psychologists is proposed as a
potential solution. (55 ref) (PsycLIT Database Copyright
