ABSTRACT: This study found the status of faculty women to be
other college studies: women are a small percentage of the f
the lower ranks, are not tenured, are victims of nepotism ru
lower pay than men, and have less chance than men for
promotion. The administration of the University is, like the

departments. The women nonprofessional staff is made up almo
